Objective
To design, develop, and operationalize a National Industrial Database that captures, stores, and updates comprehensive information on all industrial activities in Uganda.
Specific Objectives
- To digitize and centralize industrial data across regions and sectors.
- To classify industries according to ISIC Rev.4 standards.
- To enable real-time monitoring of industrial growth, location, output, employment, and investment.
- To provide data to support policy formulation, private sector development, and investor targeting.
- To link with other government systems (URA, UBOS, UIA, MoFPED, NEMA, and LGs).
