GGGI Strategy 2030 sets the course for GGGI’s efforts to effectively support its Members needs’ in transforming their economies toward environmentally sustainable and socially inclusive green growth. The 2015 Paris Agreement calls for a strengthened global response to the threat of climate crisis and deteriorating environmental conditions, seeking to keep a global temperature rise this century to well below 2°C above pre-industrial levels.
Additionally, the Paris Agreement aims to strengthen the ability of countries to deal with the impacts of climate change combined with their obligations under the 2030 Development Agenda’s Sustainable Development Goals to promote sustainable and inclusive development.
